Rui Chang is a 5th year graduate student in the Reichmanis Research Group in the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech. His current research focuses on the molecular design and synthesis of π-conjugated semiconducting polymers for application in organic field-effect transistors and organic photovoltaic devices.
Rui Chang was born in Shandong, China. She received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. In Tsinghua, she was eager to try different research areas including complex fluids, graphene, etc. After that, Rui came to Georgia Institute of Technology and joined the Reichmanis group as a PhD student in 2013. Currently, her research is focused on understanding the morphology of liquid crystals and their properties for electronic applications.
In her spare time, Rui enjoys classic music, table tennis, swimming, and travelling. She also loves reading novels and poems.
